Just Load Index without Processing Document

Is there anyway to just load index without processing document? I tried to develop JAVA app with Terrier and it's really painful to always run it with processing document.

I use Index.createIndex(String path, String name)

Thank you for your insight.

Yes!

Index.setIndexLoadingProfileAsRetrieval(false);
Index.createIndex(path,prefix);

Hi Craig,
I tried to put in my code but it didn't make any difference.

Then something in your code is requesting an inverted index. An inverted index cannot be created without a document index, and a document index is typically loaded into memory.
